Ghoul

I, Ghoul, am quite frankly insulted by this request for a ‘character introduction’. If you don’t know who I am by now then I have two things to say to you.

1. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING UNDER A FUCKIN’ ROCK?

2. Begin listening to Season One of Hell or High Rollers immediately and don’t stop till you get to the end!

Grot

Played by Adam Meggido

Grot Fiona Grot is the ‘Fist of the King’ – personal guard and right hand of the Campestri monarch.

Loyal to a fault, his chaotic and violent tendencies have thankfully been channelled into a life of service. He is part-Vocani Redcap, an ancestry that binds him to the forbidden Stag Mountain.

He is fond of showtunes and an avid collector of limericks.

Cornelius Oakstaff

Played by Henry Shields

Cornelius Pappenforth Tyrwhindle Gripehouser Oakstaff, is a wizard of great renown, among the several dozen people he knows. Born, educated and embittered in the Guild of Chronomancers, Cornelius spent his entire life in study. He is an expert in theorycraft and a total novice in practice.

Having reached the ripe old age of 100, then trundled on to the rotten old age of 163, Cornelius realised he had spent his life learning without ever actually experiencing the world first hand. He stole the accumulated time reserves of the Guild and went on the run, in search of a real adventure, and perhaps a chance to get back some of the years he wasted.

Lulu Lebubu

Played by Henry Shields

A gnome? Perhaps. An enigma? Certainement. French? Uncertainement.

Lulu is a mystery even unto himself. He seeks vengeance for a past slight that could have been anything from the murder of his wife and child, to forgetting to say bless you when he sneezed.

He moves like a silken wind, pausing only to light another cigarette. He is menace. He is danger. He is behind you right now.

Fingers

Played by Chris Leask

A 6-foot-tall, 6-foot-wide human man with perfectly normal human hands, eight pairs of entirely reasonable human shoes, and a standard-issue human exoskeleton. Fingers is – by all accounts – just a man.

Once a reef sweeper on the shores of the Sea of Fallen Stars, he lived peacefully with his family – until his wife’s tragic death.Now, Fingers has ventured inland for the first time, joining a band of adventurers to save Celestia, hoping it will grant his wife passage to the afterlife.

He enjoys long scuttles on the beach, shouting poetry, and cold salty drinks. Fingers would like to remind everyone that he is a human, and not a crab.

Milo

Played by Chris Leask

A young, wide-eyed and deeply naive man, Milo was raised in a secluded religious commune among his fellow Pedante followers. He held a number of important roles within the organisation, including Chant Coordinator, Candle Alignment Specialist, and “Just Stand On That Cliff And Tell Us When The World Might Be Ending.” He was, by all accounts, useless at all of them.

When the long-awaited Blessed Departure Day finally arrived, fate intervened in the form of some unfortunate tummy troubles. While the rest of the commune drank the punch and “ascended,” Milo was left behind.

Now alone, Milo has set out with a group of adventurers, taking the long road to Celestia in the hope of finally meeting his god. This is his first time outside the commune. He is absolutely bricking it.
