Once upon a time, four adventurers fought their way through Hell. They schemed, they bickered, they made questionable decisions. But before all that… they died.

That part was never explained. Until now.

Welcome to Hell or High Rollers: Elsewhere- a campaign that tells the story behind the story. Set in the mortal realm, Elsewhere follows a new band of adventurers on their own quest. But by the time their journey ends… they will have killed the main characters from Hell or High Rollers.

How did it happen? Why did they do it? And most importantly, what fresh chaos have they unleashed in the process?

All is not well in the world of Faerun. There has been a shift, a change in the balance of power among the deities. Two rival gods now vie for dominance: Pedante, the god of Always Being Right, and Myopia, the goddess of Foresight. Through their disciples, they wage a war of hearts and minds, each seeking to claim the realm of Faerun in their own name.

Our story follows the disciples of Pedante, led by the zealous Everley Brothers, on their divine quest to rid the land of rogues and scoundrels (including some familiar faces). Yet Myopia sees all, and through her own acolytes, she strives to undo Pedante’s will and destroy all who follow him.

Princess Cecily

Played by Ellie Moris

Oh gosh! How absolutely wonderful it is to be as wonderful as Princess Ces! Do you ever stop and marvel at how utterly perfect you are in every way? I bet you do. Don’t you? You should try it, it’s brill!

Agnes Blawka

Played by Ellie Moris

Tinkerer, gnome, sometimes chicken. Back in her youth Agnes fought in the Gnome Wars and carries the scars to prove it – plus a couple of drow heads, a battleaxe, a lovely bit of silk, a few bobbins, whatever they are, and anything else you might need in a pinch.

Everly Brothers

Played by Adam Meggido

The Chosen Prophet of Pedanti, The Hammer or Righteousness, She Who Shall Be Named Often Especially In Award Acceptance Speeches. Everley the Paladin travels the land spreading the word of Pedanti, the God of always being Right, and leading her band of trusty acolytes. In time you too shall learn to follow the Light, or verily thou shalt be tied to a stake and burned by it. May you never be wrong.

Mr Shadow

Played by Chris Leask

Sneaky rogue, trained assassin, mysterious stranger. Not all heroes wear capes, but they do all wear masks, and so does Mr Shadow. His true identity remains a mystery, even to him, but beneath the black robes and cowl there beats a heart full of love. Love for his God, love for his party, and even more love for its leader.

Valentine LeRuse

Played by Dave Hearn

Valentine’s political career was tarnished by scandal, and like many disgraced politicians before him, he turned to faith as a way to look like he was sorry about it. A bard from the College of Whispers, Valentine is a smooth talker (he thinks), a charming guest (he hopes), and a man of great interest to Pedante (he’s not).

Quarrel Rumblebelly

Played by Greg Tannahill

Quarrel is a halfling druid with flowers in his beard and fanaticism in his everywhere. Though he joins Everley and her disciples a little late, he more than makes up for it by being the most devoted of them all, for in every crazed mob someone has to be in charge of organising the pitchforks and providing healthy snacks.
